Whether you are interested in purchasing property, opening a bank
account in Costa Rica or merely setting up a telephone line, the
best and easiest way to do so is by purchasing a corporation. There
are many other reasons why you might consider purchasing a Costa
Rican corporation; probably the most important reason is that a
corporation acts as a separate entity which protects your personal
liability.
Our work begins by constituting corporations at the National
Registry. We form what is called a "Shelf-Corporation," which is a
corporation which waits on a shelf until someone purchases it. These
corporations have no recorded history other than when they were
constituted. This is done in advance with the sole purpose of
providing them to our clients in order to save them time and money.
Every corporation has a Board of Directors that consists of a
President, Secretary, Treasurer and Statutory Examiner. We start
each corporation by granting both the President and the Secretary
Full Power with no Limit of Sum. This allows them to act
independently or together to sign in the name of the corporation.
Once you have purchased a shelf-corporation, we will proceed to make
the respective changes in the Board of Directors, the legal
representation of the corporation, issuance of stock certificates
and any other required changes in the name of the corporation; that
is to say, we will personalize your company. Our firm charges $600
USD per corporation. Once this has been completed, all that is
needed is your signature on the corporate books and the transfer of
stock certificates, and you have successfully bought a corporation
in Costa Rica.
