Mario Alberto Cordoba Zárate, Attorney at Law and Notary Public, Criminal Area
As a former Judicial Officer, Mr. Cordoba performed the duties of District Attorney. In the course of ten years working within the Supreme Court of Justice, Mr. Cordoba has operated in the various roles of Prosecutor, Trial Examiner, Judge of Appeals and Criminal Judge. Currently, Mr. Cordoba is pursuing his doctorate in Criminal Law and is responsible for the firms Criminal Law cases.
Victor H Fernandez Mora, Attorney at Law and Public Notary
Being fluent in English and Spanish, Mr. Fernandez holds a degree from the Costa Rican - North American Cultural Center and earned his Law degree from Universidad Libre de Derecho in 1997. He is one of our Senior Attorneys and specializes in Corporate, Litigation, and Real Estate law, in addition to having extensive experience assisting clients relocate from abroad. He also heads our expanding branch in the beautiful region of Arenal.
Adriana Largaespada, Attorney at Law, Judicial Area
Ms. Largaespada received her law degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica, which is one of the most recognized and prestigious universities in the country. She is part of the team of professionals that represents the legal area of our firm. Adriana’s responsibilities include coordination, procedures and tracking of legal processes in diverse areas of law.
Luis Sandoval, Paralegal, Judicial Area
Mr. Sandoval is a former Judicial Officer who worked for the Supreme Court of Justice for a period of fourteen years in the role of Secretary for the Civil, Labor and Family Courts. He has over ten years experience working within the law offices of Mario Vargas and Associates. In addition to his responsibilities of preparing legal documents, he also acts as firm liaison, keeping in constant contact with the Court during trials.
Carlos Trejos Monge, Paralegal, Notarial and Judicial Areas
Carlos Trejos has been a Paralegal for the past twelve years in various legal offices. His responsibilities include Property Studies at the National Registry, Property Closings, as well as the preparation of various other legal documents. Mr. Trejos earned his law degree from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
Tatyana Mora, Paralegal, Notarial Area
Mrs. Mora has three years of legal experience, specializing in Real Estate legal transactions. She holds a Law major from the University of Costa Rica. She is fully bilingual (English-Spanish). Her main responsibility in this law firm is to prepare numerous Notarial documents such as incorporations, property closings, and mortgages, among others. The most meaningful thing for her is to make the client feel pleased with the law firm’s work.
Johanna Rodriguez. Paralegal Customer Service
Mrs. Rodriguez has a master’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis on global marketing; she has more than 21 years of experience in the Real Estate market, and is fluent in 4 languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. She is part of the Customer Service Department, and is in charge of all due diligence for the firm’s clients.
Katherine Esquivel. Paralegal Customer Service
Mrs. Esquivel is a Costa Rican citizen, has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and two
years of Law at the Studium Generale C., UACA in Costa Rica.
Her academic formation has been throughout the years bilingual,
English-Spanish, with studies in Costa Rica and the US. Her work
experience is from Multinational Companies as of Telecommunications,
Real Estate Law and Property Management in the areas of Customer
Service, Sales and Management in Costa Rica, Canada and the US.
Samantha Carfi Picado. Customer Service
Mrs. Picado holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from St. John’s University in New York. She has been living and working in Costa Rica for almost two years, and has experience working with colleagues and clients both locally and abroad. Samantha is a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish. She provides support to the Customer Service Department.
Federico Sanchez Mateo, Network and Computer Technician
Native from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mr. Sanchez is responsible for the maintenance of our office's computer systems, networks and equipment. Other responsibilities include acting as courier between our firm and the National Registry and researching corporations, land surveys and property titles. |
